Sad. My 7th grader never really got into bball,and I never pushed it hard even though I have loved watching and playing

my whole life, even now at 53.
He's a pretty good athlete--not "gifted", but pretty quick and coordinated.
He didn't make "A" team, but is probably the best kid on "B" team. They played their first school game yesterday and got thoroughly trounced by a team full of kids who play club ball. A bit demoralizing, but I'm trying to tell him if he keeps coming to the gym and play pickup ball with me (hes only been coming the past couple of weeks) that his skills will grow quickly). Hope he sticks with it
