We were sucked into club sports. It deprived my kids of experiencing lots of

Sports, which I hated. Plus, where I live it really has killed rec sports teams from middle school on up as most kids are playing on some sort of club team and starting to focus on one sport.

I question if the club sports was worth it for my kids, even though one of them ended up getting recruited to a college team.

I hate the Sunday play aspect and pressure of club sports. It is a battle to keep balance and not have sports become the religion of our kids.

The clubs seem to printing money with all they charge. I don’t think club sports are in the best interest of the majority of kids and families.
