travel kids double dip in both seasons. But there is an elitist mentality amongst the travel kids and parents as they strut around in their travel ball gear, bats, bags and jackets. They are mostly the best players, but there are for sure quality players being priced out by the costs of travel league, who just won't get the development the other kids get. And there is a lot of politics keeping average players on these teams.

It's great for a few families who take it ultra seriously, but as a whole it creates envy and being left out for most kids.
