Part of your argument was that BYU fans think theier team is better than it really is. I just think the same about USU basketball fans. I do respect what the team is able to do with the little bit that they have. If BYU could get the production out of their bigs that USU does, they would be knocking on the door of the final 4. Morrill is a great coach, I just think he should venture out and play someone, even if he doesn't get 1 and 1. I think the same way about BSU football. They say they are willing to play anyone, but they are asking WAY too much money to make that happen. Make your arguments for USU when they win outside the Spectrum.

The main thing is though, and this is just my personal opinion from my observations, I do think that a lot of the LDS BYU haters partially use religion to justify their hate, not all but some. Anyone who's ever chanted "waste of tithing" or made comments like that are ridiculous. Even if tithing was used for BYU sports, which it isn't, as an LDS member you would say that the brethren are wrong to use it for this purpose? Those types of attitudes are the ones that I can't stand when LDS members hate BYU. There's nothing wrong with not being a BYU fan if you're a member of the church. If BYU fans say there is, they are wrong, so in that point I completely agree with you. Just don't make it about religion.
