than a church anyways. I have a good buddy I sat with at the BYU scrimmage today and he was telling me how he left the church years ago because he got kicked out of the church basically for making a mistake and they wanted him to quit drinking and he wouldn't lie about it so he got the boot which seems IMOP kind of crazy that a church just gives someone the boot but that is another topic. Anyways he said he has never felt more at peace in his life since. It was an interesting discussion. He felt all the focus was on the church as an organization and proclaiming your belief in the church being true and God was some where down the line. I am not LDS and I believe in God but not large religious institutions that IMOP are nothing more than large global organzitions with huge assets and run like businesses. And yet he is still as loyal a BYU sports fan as you will find.
