did you not read the initial post on this thread??? Nobody is defending what Max Hall says. The point of this thread is there are Ute fans who are LDS who go to the extreme to saying that they "hate" BYU. BYU fans couldn't care less if mormons choose to cheer for the UofU, we all know that Pres Monson is a U fan and that Samuelson was a Ute, etc, etc, etc....we have heard it all.....the only point is why do Ute fans who are LDS (who donate 10% of their income to the LDS church) HATE BYU?? It's like a devoted catholic making a point to say they hate the University of NOtre Dame. There should be some level of respect towards your church funded and sponsored University. If you idiots would just stay on topic and stop going off on tangents........ Now if you want to say that you just hate some of the idiot BYU fans..then that's more specific and that is your opinion....but you need to understand the implications when you say " I HATE BYU" .... BYU represents the LDS faithful it doesnt matter what you say........
