Nothing but flawed reasoning and empty rationalization to justify your animosity towards BYU. News flash: 18-24 y.o. kids make mistakes, and students in AND out of the Athletic programs get second (and third) chances to live the standards, and it's not a "cover up" or double-standard. And ranting about a few mistakes while conveniently ignoring the positive examples of hundreds of student athletes seems a bit obsessive.
These sorts of post always crack me up because if BYU was booting athletes for every offense (and thus generating negative publicity), the same critics who complain about the bad publicity & supposed double-standard would be saying that as the "Lord's University" we should be more forgiving.
