the problem, right? I actually attend the U, and I cheered for the (except against BYU) in 2008. I cheered for them except against TCU and BYU in 2009.

When I read comments like yours I think to myself despite having a Utah degree myself (in a year) "I will never hire a Utah grad as long as I live. How petty and bratty can these kids be?"

Then I take a step back and realize that there's a ton of really great people who go to all the schools in the state, and a few really nasty fans who try to get everyone's vitrol up. I go in steps between wanting to burn my future degree and being happy that Utah is getting some good press and hopefully bringing some of that back home to their rival.

But it's a nasty cycle. Maybe BYU started it by being smug and self-righteous--I dunno. But other fans fan the flames when they talk like most AL---F's I know. Then BYU feels validated, and victimized (which all Mormons are very good at). So freaking stop. Everyone.
