Thumbs down me all you want
One good bowl game (just because we were matched up with Utah.... Which we lost).
Five cool wins (2 vs Texas and 1 vs. Michigan State and some hail mary's.)
Independence has nothing really memorable for me at all other than Taysom running wild on Texas.
I don't see it changing. I miss Saturday's when you watch BYU play and the scoreboard watch and tune into other games that have an impact on BYU. Now i find myself trying to muster up fake emotions when San Jose state loses because it hurts our SOS.
Independence stinks and now BYU bball is going to be in it's worst conference ever in my lifetime. This will effect the program, the recruiting and thd fan interest.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
