I agree to a point. The problem is as Indy it's just an exhibition game with no
Meaning. Which is why recruiting sucks. Player want to play for conference championships and NY6 bowls.
Kind of hard to motivate a recruit or player knowing 12-0 or 6-6 and they get the LV Bowl, WOW!

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
