Joining the AAC doesn't mean BYU can't play Nebraska or Texas anymore
It just provides some meaning to the rest of the season once we go 1-2 against our P5 competition.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
