I'd rather play an AAC schedule...
With 1 or 2 P5's coming to Provo, playing for the chance to win a conference championship and then being able to possibly face a P5 team in a New Years Day bowl game... then play 4 or 5 P5's, 6 to 7 weak sisters of the poor, and play in the Poinsettia, New Mexico, Hawaii or Frisco Bowl regardless of record.
On top of that... give me a basketball season in the AAC 100 times out of a 100 over the WCC. I don't care what the cost is for travel, I honestly do not give a rip about it. This is honestly where the church can put in more dime, cause we'll be going to locations where the population is greater and the chance for exposure is more than the WCC and equal to Independence in football.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced

I think if we have a good 10-2 type run, we probably get LV. But we do it again the next year, we would get NY6
