What recruit do you know that wants to play for a MWC championship? You don't
honestly believe a high level recruit would rather play for a MWC championship than play against really good teams in really good venues, multiple times a season do you?

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
