"If BYU can still play those games" BYU won't. Look no further than Boise.
They have to beg big schools to play them and usually its away. BYU will not get those type of games as a G5 school. It is available since we are Indy.

One main difference is that P5 conferences consider independent BYU a P5 game, so it is easier to schedule us

Exactly my point. By moving to ANY G5, our ability to schedule meaningful P5 games is greatly reduced
