someone, but simply pointing out that an employer doesn't give 2 weeks notice before firing someone, and shouldn't be taken aback when somebody quits without giving a full 2 weeks notice - it's just how it goes, and not reasonable to always expect employees to provide that courtesy when the employer isn't willing to provide it themselves.
